Update on the Egmont Reading for Pleasure Teacher Awards 2020 in partnership with the Open University and the UK Literacy Association
We’re very sorry that the Reading for Pleasure conference was cancelled on Saturday. It was a big disappointment but undoubtedly necessary; we find ourselves in extraordinary times. We were very much looking forward to announcing the winners of the awards and celebrating their success.
We’ve had to re-plan and we now intend to make the announcement either in July or possibly at the postponed conference which will be later in the year, as yet the date is ‘to be confirmed’. We’d very much like to announce it at the conference so that we can celebrate properly, but things are uncertain at the moment. So check back here for further news later in the year.
With best wishes from the judges
